APAR status

Error description

  • In DB2 Administration Tool, in DB2 V8 Compat Mode, using
option E;C to create PLAN_TABLE, Tools create the plan table
with only 51 columns instead of 58

Local fix

  • Alter the table to add the missing columns

Problem summary

* RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *

When using the "Create a PLAN_TABLE for  explain"
function from the panel ADB2E,  the table was not
upgraded to the right release level.

Problem conclusion

  • The problem  has  been fixed.   In addition,  several other
problems relating to release upgrades  for both  the Create
and Upgrade functions for PLAN_TABLEs, DSN_STATEMNT_TABLEs,
and DSN_FUNCTION_TABLEs.
