This error is due to the fact that HDPC jobs use the same job name FABPATH0, so in the latter job, DBRC failed to sign on to the RECON data set and causes ABEND.
Problem conclusion
By APAR PK66458 of Database Recovery Facility, DRF allows to specify job name and procedure name for HDPC. By this APAR, HD Pointer Checker is enabled to start the specified procedure with the specified job name. The following macros and module have been changed: FABPAPI FABPAPID FABPAPIP FABPHAPI The following sample procedure has been changed: FABPATH0 The following sample procedure has been added: FABPATHZ Documentation Changes: Note: The section numbers are those of the BookManager (BKMGR) book. The documentation is modified as follows: ============================================================== IMS High Performance Pointer Checker for z/OS, V2R2, User's Guide (SC18997400) ============================================================== 2.0 HD Pointer Checker 2.14 Tailoring HD Pointer Checker for IMS Database Recovery Facility |2.14.2 FABPATH0 and FABPATHZ procedure ---------------------------------------------------------------- The following description is changed. |When IMS Database Recovery Facility (DRF) calls the HASH Check |function, HD Pointer Checker starts a procedure specified by |DRF. When procedure name is not specified explicitly, the |default procedure name is FABPATH0 when job name is not |specified, and FABPATHZ when job name is specified. |The FABPATHx builds environmental setting for the HASH pointer |checking. A FABPATHx procedure must exist in one of the |libraries in the SYS1.PROCLIB concatenation. The Following description is added. |The FABPATHZ default procedure which is used when job name is |specified by DRF, differs from the FABPATH0 procedure in the |following respects. | | - Parameter "L1=" is used instead of "HPPCLIB1" | - Parameter "L2=" is used instead of "HPPCLIB2"
