Error description

  • ILEs are created on the wrong side, which causes pointer errors,
when all the following conditions are satisfied:
    - IMS V9 APAR PK28830 or IMS V10 APAR PK47094 is applied
    - ILDS is rebuilt by IPR Driver (REORGINPUT=DBDS)
    - The partition which is reorganized by IPR has an odd
      reorganization number after the reorganization

    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. *
    ****************************************************************
This APAR fixes the following problems:
    1. ILEs are created on the wrong side and this causes pointer
errors when all of the following conditions are satisfied:
    - IMS V9 APAR PK28830 or IMS V10 APAR PK47094 is applied
    - ILDS is rebuilt by IPR Driver (REORGINPUT=DBDS)
    - The partition which is reorganized by IPR has an odd
      reorganization number after the reorganization

    2. The reorganization number in the ILE is not set when the ILDS
is rebuilt by IPR Driver (REORGINPUT=DBDS) with IMS V8 or later.
This may cause IMS U085x abend when using the ILDS.

Both of these problems are caused by the change of the IMS
module DFSPCSH0. HP Load running under IPR Driver stores the
reorganization number in DSGREORG to get the ILE made by the IMS
module DFSPCSH0. However, the module was changed by maintenance
of IMS to use the reorganization number in the AMP instead of
DSGREORG, and an incorrect reorganization number is used in
    creating an ILE.

Problem conclusion

  • The module HPSRRLDM has been modified to set the reorganization
number in the AMP for DFSPCSH0.
