Error description

  • The DB2 Administration Tool GEN/DDL command produces incorrect
DDL resulting in SQLCODEN104 and/or issues a message:
limitkey_proc call with no int_limitkey
old_limitkey:
when running against DB2 9 in compatibility mode.

This symptom will also appear when DB2 APAR PK54738 has not
been applied and DB2 has not been stopped and started.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The  "limitkey_proc call with no        *
*                      int_limitkey"  messages  appear in the  *
*                      output  of the  ADB2GEN  program.  The  *
*                      incorrect  DDL produced by the ADB2GEN  *
*                      program with table based partitioning,  *
*                      and a partitioned index.                *

* RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *

he DB2 9 CM (910) mode was not correctly recognized by the
DB2GEN program.
