Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
* USERS AFFECTED: Users of DB2 Administration Tool that        *
*                 may encounter a terminal code page           *
*                 that is not the same as the CCSID in         *
*                 the Plan for Admin Tool.                     *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: DB2 Administration Tool does not        *
*                      display a warning when the              *
*                      terminal code page is different         *
*                      from the Admin Tool Plan CCSID.         *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: APPLY the PTF.                               *
****************************************************************
New functionality has been added to DB2 Administration Tool to
display a warning panel when the terminal code page does
not match the Admin Tool Plan CCSID. The user can disable
this verification in panel ADB2P2 "Change DB2 Admin
Defaults".
