Local fix

  • Please apply PTF when available.
    .
    Possible circumvention is to change the STIMER value to
    something higher.  In customer's case it was set to 00010000
    and changed to 00020000, and recycle OMDB2CI.

    *                      agent and/or OMPE Server has to be      *
    *                      recycled or the COMMCOLL has to be      *
    *                      stopped and restarted.                  *

    *                      Also, better filtering of diagnostic    *
    *                      data in the RKLVLOG is desirable.       *

    PROBLEM SUMMARY:
    If the OMPE Server is very busy during an agent's attempt to
    establish a connection for a DB2 subsystem, that
    connection will never be established until the agent and/or
    OMPE Server is recycled or the COMMCOLL is stopped and
    restarted.
    
    Also, better filtering of diagnostic data in the RKLVLOG is
    desirable.
    
    PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
    Internally, separate the COMMCOLL STIMER value such that it
    only governs data collection time, not agent connection time.
    
    Make very minor updates to agent modules to allow filtering
    of RKLVLOG data.
