Error description

  • ABEND 0C6-00000006 may occur in the QM collector when monitoring
DB2 V9 workloads. The ABEND0C6 occurs following an ABEND0C4 in
CQMMCL91 when an attempt to invoke its FRR (CQMMMFRR) is done.
CQMMCL91 does a SETFRR passing a 24 bit ADDRESS of the FRR
instead of a 31 bit ADDRESS. The ADDRESS of the FRR in this
case is 9067C000, but because the LLGT load bits 1-31 of the
four bytes pointed to by R5, 1067C000 is incorrectly passed to
    the SETFRR. SYSTRACE shows:

... the 24 bit ADDRESS in the PSW causing the ABEND0C6.
905EA0C8 points into DB2's CSECT DSNTFEST, 8DF9B15A points
into CQMMCL91. This will not occur with R230 of QM.
