Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application * * Server V6.1 * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Siplet's Init() method was not * * triggered after application * * restart. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) container currently triggers siplet's init() method while it is starting. Trying to trigger the init() method with this timing was not working properly in all scenario's. Because of that, init() will now be triggered after the SIP container is started, when all of the services are up and we can be sure that application will receive the init event.
Problem conclusion
Timing of the call to the init() method changed to resolved this issue. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 6.1.0.19. Please refer to the recommended updates page for delivery information: http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=180&uid=swg27004980
