Error description

  • When running the DEDB Pointer Checker an ABENDS0CB occurs out
    of FABADA5 near offset x'bc0'.

This is a forward fit of HPFP V310 APAR PK63638.

Forward Fit APAR of FPB V3R1 PK63638.
FPB DEDB Pointer Checker got S0CB ABEND out of FABADA5 near
offset x'2BC0'. At this offset of FABADA5, "DP" instruction
    was executed.

Problem conclusion

  • Forward Fit APAR of FPB V3R1 PK63638.
While calculating standard deviation for DB RECORDS of the
"DB RECORD PROFILE ANALYSIS" report, FABADA5 got S0CB ABEND
    at "DP" instruction.
The required data in standard deviation calculation of FABADA5
    is following three items:
. the total number of DB RECORDS
. the total length of DB RECORDS
. the sum total of square of each length of DB RECORDS
In this trouble, the sum total of square of each length of
DB RECORDS (3rd data) is overflowed while data gathering,
because program field is not enough size for 3rd data against
    customer's DB area.
Character strings '******' will be written in the standard
deviation field of the "DB RECORD PROFILE ANALYSIS" report
    in case of overflow.

The following macros have been modified to enlarge the size
of fields that are used for standard deviation calculation
    for DB RECORDS:
      DA5WRKG0, DA5WRKM0, DA5WRKP0, DA5WRK20

Macro DA5PRPR0 has been introduced new routine of standard
deviation calculation only for DB RECORDS.
Macro DA5SDEV0 has been modified to change the "CLC"
instruction into "CP" at standard deviation calculation.

The following macros have been modified to add the validation
    of standard deviation calculation:
      DA5PFSB0, DA5PFSD0, DA5PFSI0
    320Y
    DA5EOJR0
    DA5MAIN0
    DA5PFSB0
    DA5PFSD0
    DA5PFSI0
    DA5PRPR0
    DA5SDEV0
    DA5T3XP0
    DA5WRKG0
    DA5WRKM0
    DA5WRKP0
    DA5WRK20
