Problem summary

*                 those running GEN online.                    *

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Users can experience large usage of     *
*                      STACK and HEAP storage.  This is        *
*                      particularly important when running     *
*                      GEN online.                             *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: APPLY the PTF.                               *
****************************************************************
This APAR makes changes to GEN and Parser code which will
significantly reduce the storage required.

Problem conclusion

  • The storage required to run GEN has been significantly reduced.
