APAR status

Error description

  • In DB2 Administration Tool, when a Template is renamed, panel
ADB25TU3 does not get updated with the new Template name.

Local fix

  • Query for the renamed template to update the panel

Problem summary

* USERS AFFECTED: DB2 Admin Tool users who use templates.      *

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When a template name was changed in     *
*                      screen ADB25TE, entries with that       *
*                      template still appear in screen         *
*                      ADB25TU3 with the old name.             *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: APPLY the PTF.                               *
****************************************************************
Renaming a template did not clean up template usage screen.

Problem conclusion

  • Code changed such that when a template is renamed the template
usage screen shows the new name.
