    pth

Local fix

Problem summary

  • While working with Trace Tree views, the customer noticed
that a trace that was previously deleted, reappeared in a
trace tree view. Customer worked on reproducing the issue
and was able to provide some steps. I created a sample
project in support and was able to reproduce the same
behavior. The problem appears to be related to the node
depth that is being selected for the trace tree view. While
trying to reproduce the problem I found other unusual
behaviors and will be filing those issues as well. The
problem appears to only occur in specific use cases. The
following are the steps I took to reproduce the problem. I
have attached the project I worked with and a screen shot of
    the trace tree view.

    Steps to reproduce the issue:

    Click on View1

Click on the ellipse button [...]

    Expand depth to 10

    Click on TERM3

In the properties of TERM3, remove the trace from NONE2

    Click on View1

    Expand depth to 2

    Expand depth to 10

    Expand depth to 1

    Deleted trace NONE2 -? TERM3 is visible in View1

    Additional info:
Since this issue is not urgent for the customer as its a
uncommon use case, they are not requesting a fix, but would
    like it resolved asap.

The customer reported the issue in 7.0.1.1 IFix02. Support
    reproduced the issue with 7.0.1.
