Error description

• Specifying UNLOAD (UT.UL) on a Table can generate a very large
  primary quantity for the Space parm.

  *                      ADB2UT  to  unload a  small  table in a *
  *                      segmented tablespace allocated too much *
  *                      space for the unload dataset.           *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *
  ****************************************************************
  When unloading a table which resides in a multi-table(segmented)
  tablespace,  DB2  Admin Tool  allocated too  much space for the
  unload file.
  

Problem conclusion

• The calculation of space for the unload file of tables in
  segmented tablespaces has been improved.
