Error description

  • KO2O1421E NEAR-TERM HISTORY DATA COLLECTOR - WORKLOAD DANALYZE
HAD LOOPED MORE THAN TEN TIMES. TERMINATING (SERVLOOP)

Thread token being used to match IFCID records is unsuccessful
for distserv threads in an environment where ACCUMACC is other
    than NO.

Other circumstances can result in large volumes of data being
left on the chain - this can manifest itself as
    increasing storage utilization
    increasing CPU consumption

Local fix

  • SET ACCUMACC=NO in DSNZPARM

This setting will result in a significant increase in the volume
of trace records being created. This can increase the SMF file
volume if DB2 trace data is being collected to SMF.

Also consider cycling the historical task every couple of hours

    PROBLEM SUMMARY:
Problem matching accounting data to package accounting data.
Unmatched data was building up in storage until available memory
is used up, or the historical collector exceeded CPU limit.

    PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
Allow more tolerance in matching timestamps. Assure all
matching information is collected. Assure that old unmatched
data is cleaned in a timely manner. Correct code point which
was failing to output the accounting data.

Problem conclusion

  • Allow more tolerance in matching timestamps. Assure all
matching information is collected. Assure that old unmatched
data is cleaned in a timely manner. Correct code point which
was failing to output the accounting data.
