PK62351: ABENDS0C4-11 IN FABJCMP1 WHEN HDPC=N WAS SPECIFIED ON IC CONTROLSTATEMENT

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• ABENDS0C4-11 occurred in FABJCMP1 when HDPC=N was specified on
  the IC control statement.  The HPIC module for MSGFREQ= breaks
  the save area chain, thus the HPIC compression routine cannot
  return to the caller.

  HPIC Image Copy function terminates with ABEND S0C4 ( ABEND0C4 )
  at FABJCMP1 + X'0162', when MSGFREQ= keyword is specified
  in the ICEIN.
  
  The HPIC module for MSGFREQ= breaks the save area chain.
  Then the HPIC compression routine cannot return to the caller
  because of the HPIC compression routine use caller's save area
  chain.
  

Problem conclusion

• The following modules have been modified to re-build the proper
  save area chain before call sub routine using caller's save
  area chain.
