PK62163: FABJ0130E RECEIVED RUNNING HPIC WITH ORF

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• FABJ0130E INCORRECT USE OF PERIOD IS FOUND
  when running HPIC with ORF.  HPIC calls ICDS name build logic
  for dynalloc even if the IC data set DD is allocated in the JCL.
  But HPIC can not find ICHLQ= so the name build process results
  in the error message.  HPIC does not need to build the ICDS name
  when the IC data set is allocated in the JCL.

  HPIC fails with FABJ0130E ( MSGFABJ0130E ) under following
  conditions:
   - The naming symbol 'ICHLQ.' is used in the IC data set naming
     template.
   - ICHLQ parameter is not provided.
  
  HPIC should not attempt to build the output IC data set name,
  when the IC data set is provided as JCL DD statement.
  

Problem conclusion

• FABJACQG has been modified to bypass IC data set name build
  logic when the IC data set DD is already allocated in the JCL.
  
  FABJDOPN has been modified to issue OBTAIN macro using data set
  name of JFCB.
