Error description

  • The DB2 Administration Tool CM function jobs compare step
fails with a message:
GOCC025E - Duplicate record was detected for object aaa.aaa
           Run will terminate.
GOCC002E - Severe error. Compare terminates
where aaa.aaa is a VIEW which has a definition which is greater
than 1500 characters long.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The ADB2GEN program produces version    *
*                      file records without the proper         *
*                      sequence number for view type records.  *
*                      This causes a duplicate object error    *
*                      message (GOCC025E) in Object Compare.   *

* RECOMMENDATION: APPLY the PTF.                               *

proper sequence number for view type records.  This causes a
duplicate object error message (GOCC025E) in Object Compare.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The version file record sequence is now set properly.
