PK61215: APAR PK55770 MUST BE INSTALLED ON ALL IMS'S IN AN LPAR SIMULTANEOUSLY

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Provide improved support for AllowUserKeyCSA
  parameter in DIAGxx of SYS1.PARMLIB.  Support
  was added in APAR PK55770, but required all IMS
  subsystems on an LPAR to be updated at the same
  time.  This APAR eliminates the requirement to
  update all IMS subsystems on an LPAR at the same
  time.

  Provide improved support for AllowUserKeyCSA
  parameter in DIAGxx of SYS1.PARMLIB. Support
  was added in APAR PK55770, but required all IMS
  subsystems on an LPAR to be updated at the same
  time. This APAR eliminates the requirement to
  update all IMS subsystems on an LPAR at the same
  time.
  The doc changes associated with APAR PK55770
  still apply. In addition, this APAR introduces a change to
  two messages, IZT2597I and IZT2697I. One
  additional word is added to the end of these
  messages - KEYxx.
  The explaination for both messages should be
  changed from "length and size" to "length, size,
  and protect key".
  

Problem conclusion

• If AllowUserKeyCSA=YES, ETO Support will
  continue to use key 15 ECSA for the ETO Support
  anchor and tables (as it did prior to PK55770).
  If AllowUserKeyCSA=NO (the default starting in
  z/OS 1.9), then ETO Support will use key 7 ECSA
  for the ETO Support anchor and tables.
