Error description

  • The DB2 Administration Tool can enter a loop which results in
a CEE0813S INSUFFICIENT STORAGE situation if the user does not
F3 from the product after a SQLCODEN922 error:
DSNT408I SQLCODE = -922, ERROR:  AUTHORIZATION FAILURE: PLAN
ACCESS ERROR.
REASON 00F30034

Local fix

  • F3 from the product if a SQLCODEN922 is displayed by panel
 ADB2E1 'DB2 ERROR DISPLAY 1'.

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
* USERS AFFECTED: Admin installations where a user attempts to *
*                 enter Admin  and get  an authorization error *
*                 but the Admin main panel is  displayed after *
*                 a -922 is seen.                              *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The Admin panel should not be displayed *
*                      when an authorization errors occurs.    *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *
****************************************************************
ADBMAIN has been changed to not allow the Admin main panel
to be displayed when there is an authorization error.

Problem conclusion

  • The problems have been fixed.
