  • When updating a Clearcase snapshot view, the update will remove
a file from the view workspace causing a cleartool ls of that lo
cation to show the elements as loaded

Problem summary


    

  • When updating a ClearCase snapshot view, the update will
remove a file from the view workspace and a cleartool ls of
that location will show the elements as "loaded but
missing."

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • A fix is available in ClearCase versions 7.0.0.5, 7.0.1.4,
and 7.1.0.1.
Cleartool update now detects the problematic scenario (drop
back from \main to \branch\0) and forces a load of
\branch\0.
