  *                 enter "YES" in the "Combine job steps"       *
  *                 field, and (3) enter"NO" in the              *
  *                 "Add to work stmt list" field.               *

  *                      If a user wants to include a REBIND     *
  *                      step as part of an alter, an extra      *
  *                      "ENDIF ..IF ..ELSE" is inserted in the  *

  * RECOMMENDATION: APPLY the PTF.                               *

  Skeleton ADB2URB imbeds skeleton ADB2IFM
  ( "ENDIF ..IF ..ELSE" ) even though exec ADB27A builds JCL
  correctly without needing this imbed. Migrate, however, which
  also FTINCLs ADB2URB from exec ADB28M, builds JCL differently
  and does require the imbed of ADB2IFM in ADB2URB.
  

Problem conclusion

• The imbed of ADB2IFM is suppressed in the alter scenario.
