PK60784: WHEN CREATING A STORED PROCEDURE AND USING A MODEL THAT USES A RESULT SET > 0, PARM IS OMITTED

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In DB2 Administration Tool, when creating a Stored Procedure
  using a model with RESULT SET > 0, the parm gets omitted
  resulting in RESULT SET = 0.
  

Local fix

• SET Definition SQL (CREATE, DROP, ALTER, RENAME,.) to YES.
  Edit the statement in panel ADB2PSTM and add RESULT SET nnnnn.

  When issuing the CRE line command against a procedure
  on panel ADB21O ("create like") , if the value for RESULT SETS
  on panel ADB26COV is not changed, the generated SQL does not
  include the RESULT SETS option. Thus the default is used,
  instead of the value from the procedure used as a model.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem has been fixed for RESULT SETS as well as several
  other options that were affected. In addition, the following pro
  were fixed:
  1. When first ALTERing a procedure, then issuing CRE against it,
  panel ADB26COV remains in ALTER mode.
  2. If the PARAMETER CCSID field is left blank, the value last
  used for the optioin is used in the CREATE PROCEDURE statement,
  instead of allowing it to default.
