the ISPF Omegamon DB2 Function Option #2
Receive message:
OBV309: VIRTUAL TERMINAL POOL OBVTM1 IS NOT ACTIVE TO VTAM

Local fix

  • Workaround:
change the following string in **.RKANCLI(KO2MCSPF) :
CALL '&O2LOADU(&MODULE)' '&PARM.'
to:
CALL  *(&MODULE)  '&PARM.'

*                      using a customized KOBVTPL module.      *

PROBLEM SUMMARY:
Can not connect to the Classic Interface from ISPF OLM option
"2 DB2 activity - Classic Interface" using a customized
KOBVTPL module. The interface CLIST KO2MCSPF uses a
hard-coded library RKANMOD to call module KOBSPFVT and KOBVTPL
instead of using a proper library concatenation of RKANMODU
and RKANMOD.

PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
Code changed to use proper concatenation of libraries
RKANMODU, RKANMOD, and TKANMOD.
