APAR status

  • Closed as new function.

Error description

  • DBRC Log Selection can cause RECON data sets to become unusable
when the IMSPLEX parameter is specified but not activated in
DBRC. CHANGE.RECON NOPLEX is required to resolve the problem.

A new Request Authorization exit called IPIUAUTH is being
introduced. The exit is called by DBRC Log Selection to validate
    the IMSPLEX specification.
The exit as supplied (IPIUAUTH in SIPISAMP library) stops all
DBRC requests if IMSPLEX is specified.
Note that the exit is optional, and if not installed, then all
    requests are allowed.

Upon APAR completion apply USERMOD IPIU002 (which will be
located in SIPISAMP library) to install and activate the exit.
