  1. Running an application could get an abend 04e in DSNGEFLC
  erqual 500E. The package cannot be executed until DB2 is
  refreshed.
  
  2. Running an application could get the following abends
  04e in DSNGEFLC erqual 5002.
  04e in DSNGERBK erqual 500B.
  
  3. dynamically decreasing EDM pool could get the following
  abends
  04e in DSNGECMP erqual 5004.
  04e in DSNGEZPM erqual 5012.
  04e in DSNGEFLC erqual 5001.
  04e in DSNXELX +377A
  

Problem conclusion

• The reported problems were corrected as follows:
  1.When a package is loaded into the EDM pool a lock name is
  generated using the package name, the collection id and the
  contoken. Some combinations would generate the same lock name
  for different packages. When this happened, the first package
  would load but attempting to load the second package would
  cause the abend. The abend would occur until the first
  package was removed from the EDM pool.
  
  The code has been updated avoid the abend when different
  packages being loaded generate the same Plock name.
  
  2.DB2 code has been corrected to prevent the abends.
  
  3. When EDM pool EDM_SKELETON_POOL and EDMSTMTC are dynamically
  decreased, an overlay can occur causing the EDM chain to be
  broken which causes various abends later on.
  
  The internal structure overlay is fixed.
