Error description

  • The startup CLIST (ANLCANLI) hangs when the member <ssid>ISPF is
missing from the SANLSAMP library, where, <ssid> is the DB2
    subsystem id.
    ADDITIONAL SYMPTOM:
    1. When selecting primary command TABLES to display all the DB2
tables referenced the last column (STM) which is the total
number of SQL statements is displayed incorrectly.
    2. ISPF table showing the DB2 tables used shows an incorrect
total number of statements (original symptom)
    3. ISPF hangs when SANLSAMP member <ssid>ISPF is missing. This
APAR prevents ISPF from hanging and instead provides a
message to the user in respect to the missing member.
    4. In BATCH mode the Easy Explain function terminated with
errors when either the PREDICATE and/or COST explain tables
are missing. The Easy Explain function no longer terminates
if the PREDICATE and/or COST explain tables are missing
instead the process continues and a message is given.
