APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • 1. ABENDS0C4 in randomizing routine. FPA should set R10 to 1
and R11 to 0 to show the call is not being issued in an IMS
    online environment.
This is a backward fit of HPFPU V3R1 APAR PK49325.
    2. Wait in HFPAS4I0 at x'154' due to ENQ/DEQ issues.
This is a backward fit of HPFPU V3R1 APAR PK56899.

    ****************************************************************
Backward Fit APAR of FPA V3R1 PK49325 and PK56899.
1.ABEND0C4 may happen in the randomizing routine due to FPA
UNLOAD function not setting up R10 and R11 properly when making
the call. R10 should be set to -1 and R11 to 0 which shows that
the call is not being issued in an IMS online environment.
    2. The following FPA functions can hang due to ENQ/DEQ issues
       for the internal buffer.
         - ANALYZE with PTRCHKLVL=FULL
         - CHANGE
         - EXTRACT
         - RELOAD with PTRCHKLVL=FULL
         - UNLOAD
    3. ABEND0CB in HFPA5H20 can occur for the decimal-divide
    exception.

Problem conclusion

  • HFPTRCL0 has been modified to set up R10 and R11 properly when
    making the call.
HFPRSRB0 has been modified to manage the internal buffer
    properly.
HFPA5000 has been modified not to report the information about
SDEP segment in the DEDB Area Analysis reports.
HFPA5H20 has been modified not to cause the decimal-divide
    exception.
