APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • IB gives a RC=32 when called by DRF since it could not load the
start up module for IB. This is due to IB load library not
being in the steplib dd for FRXJCLIP member.
This APAR will fix the message that DRF should have put out.

Local fix

  • Add the Index Builder load library to the Steplib dd in member
    FRXJCLIP.

DRF did not indicate what kind of error had occured with Index
builder. The Utility report produced in the master address space
only contained a RC=32 for IB with no other indications of the
    actual error.

Problem conclusion

      GEN:

    *** END IMS KEYWORDS ***
The Utility report produced by the master address space was
modified to contain both a text message indicating the sub
address space failed and the name of the sub address space so
the user could look and see what errors were reported in the sub
    address space.
