APAR status

Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool panel ADB21KR 'Rebind Package'
  displays a package bound with DYNAMICRULES  DEFINERUN as:
  ) DYNAMICRULES(
  Dynamic rules   ===> E        (Run or Bind)
  and the REBIND command fails with a message:
  INVALID KEYWORD, E
  

Local fix

• Use the PROMPT option to change the:
  DYNAMICRULES(E)
  to:
  DYNAMICRULES(DEFINERUN)

  DB2 Administration Tool generates a single character value for
  the DYNAMICRULES parameter of BIND PACKAGE and REBIND PACKAGE.
  DB2 no longer supports this syntax. DB2 Administration Tool has
  been changed to specify the entire full string value in the
  DYNAMICRULES parameter. Additionally, line command I
  (Interpret) for packages has been updated to display E -
  DEFINERUN and H - INVOKEBIND for packages with those values for
  DYNAMICRULES.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem has been fixed.
