PK58502: IQC6607E PDS MEMBER NAME IN THE QCF CONFIG FILE WAS NOT FOUND WHEN USING THREE CHARACTER IMSID

Error description

• IQC6607E PDS MEMBER NAME IN THE QCF CONFIG FILE WAS NOT FOUND IN
  THE PDS, MEMBER NAME=IQCA50 I.
  
  Symptom of an alternate issue fixed:
  ABEND878 in QCF server address space when there are many primary
  and secondary messages.  This is a forward fit of QCF V2.1 APAR
  PK61764.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: IMS control region configuration member *
  *                      name is built incorrect when IMS id is  *
  *                      less than 4 bytes. Member name  is      *
  *                      created  this way 'IQC' + imsid + 'I'.  *
  *                      If imsid is 'IMS1' - the proclib member *
  *                      name will be IQCIMS1I.If imsid is IM1 - *
  *                      the proclib that is created will be     *
  *                      'IQCIM1 I' and an error occures when    *
  *                      trying to access the member,            *
  *                      Second symptom is fixed in this APAR-   *
  *                      forwarded from QCF2.1:                  *
  *                      In selection routines the prefix is     *
  *                      built only for primary messages. The    *
  *                      prefix is saved in a prefix table-      *
  *                      each secondary message gets the prefix  *
  *                      from the table, and the last message    *
  *                      erases it.                              *
  *                      Secondary messages can not find their   *
  *                      primary message's prefix, if the        *
  *                      secondaries are more than 1 - and the   *
  *                      last message can not erase the enrty-   *
  *                      this way the table increases and can    *
  *                      result in storage overflow in server    *
  *                      address space.                          *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  Programs are fixed to build the IMS control region proclib
  configuration member name correct in cases where the imsid is
  less than 4 bytes.
  Programs are changed to match the secondary
  messages to their primary when loading messages on the queue-
  and the storage problem in server is resolved.
  

Problem conclusion

• Member name is built correct in all cases.
  Server storage problem is soleved - in matching the primary
  and secondary messages correct and erasing the used entries
  in prefix table.
