Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool VALIDATE WSL function fails RC=08
  with a message:
  ADB3001E Error processing Table aaaaaaa.aaaaaaaa in LABEL
  statement: the object does not exist.
  where aaaaaaa.aaaaaaaa is actually a VIEW.

Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When validation is done for LABELS on   *
  *                      VIEWS validate returns 'Error           *
  *                      processing Table  aaa.aaa in LABEL      *
  *                      statement: the object does not exist    *
  *                      when LABEL ON VIEW included.'           *
  *                      even when label on view exists.         *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: APPLY the PTF.                               *
  ****************************************************************
  The problem occurs because of passing incorrect object type when
  validating label on views during dictionary search.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem is been fixed only in V7.2.
