Error description

This APAR provides the following new functions to the HD Pointer Checker (HDPC) component. 1. Recovery Needed Flag Notification Support HDPC can notify that checked databases are marked as recovery needed in RECON via WTO message and non-zero return code. The return code is customizable via the RECOVNEEDED keyword of the HPSRETCD statement. 2. Completion message for BLKMAP New completion message is provided for the PROC=BLKMAP process. Since pointer checking is not performed for BLKMAP, it's useful that this process can be recognized by just looking at the completion message.
