• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The problem - DB2, starting from V9, has db2consv.lvl level file
  in the ${HOME}/sqllib/cfg/ (V9 instance owner), and the
  installation process does not look for that file.

  Receiving the error when configuring PE:
  Running the /opt/IBM/db2peage/V2.2.1/bin/db2peage-config
  command.
  On a DB2 V9 Instance on the same AIX machine.

  The error message is:

Local fix

• Configuration Workaround:
  As a workaround - you can edit e2e file in the following way:
  search for ${CMD_ECHO} "The DB2 Edition you are using is not
  supported by Performance Expert."
  remove the "exit 1" command after the found line
  keep the original e2e file as e2e_ori
  .
  Installation workaround:
  Find the instance home folder, i.e. ${HOME}/sqllib/cfg/ and make
  a copy of db2consv.lvl to db2conee.lvl. Make the same chmod for
  db2conee.lvl as they are for db2consv.lvl
  If this workaround does not work, make the same change in the
  global db2 folder, like in /opt/IBM/db2/V9.1_FP3/cfg/ for
  example.
