Error description
1. ABEND S0C4 in agent, MODULE=ARYLHETB, OFFSET=00002BD4. Message 'ARYZ001E A callable services abend S0C4 has occurred' is displayed in GUI. This can occur when either viewing or running JCL from the GUI after generating and selecting a recovery plan. * 2. MESSAGE 'ARYA064E--DYN ALLOC ERROR: DDNAME: MODEFILE' INCORRECTLY ISSUED WHEN TRYING TO RUN LOG ANALYSIS JOBS Users with USERID's less then 6 characters may receive the following error message when trying to run Log Analysis jobs: 'ARYA064E--Dyn alloc error: DDname: MODEFILE' when trying to run Log Analysis jobs. * 3. MESSAGE DSNT408I SQLCODE -601 MAY BE ISSUED DURING RECOVERY OF RI RELATED TABLES Message DSNT408I SQLCODE -601 may be issued when trying to recover a dropped table(s) if the recovered table(s) contains RI to other table(s) that currently exist. Recovery Expert is incorrectly trying to recreate the related objects that are not in a dropped state. * 4. DB2 RECOVERY EXPERT DSNT408I SQLCODE40 ACCESSING AN OBJECT RECOVERED BECAUSE PRIMARY KEY RECREATED INCORRECTLY When there is more than one primary key associated with an object, they may not be recreated correctly resulting in an unusable object. If they are created incorrectly, you will see the following error when accessing the table after recovery: DSNT408I SQLCODE = -540, ERROR: THE DEFINITION OF TABLE RABO1.GLWTPJA IS INCOMPLETE BECAUSE IT LACKS A PRIMARY INDEX OR A REQUIRED UNIQUE INDEX * 5. PF1 ON THE WELCOME TO THE RECOVERY ADVISOR WINDOW CAUSES THE WELCOME TO DB2 RECOVERY EXPERT FOR Z/OS HELP TO DISPLAY. On the Point In Time selection panel in the Recovery advisor, users may not be able to use the ALT+N key combination to advance to the next screen. This can occur after the user selects LRSN, explicit button, then decides to Cancel and return to the Point In Time selection panel. Users must click the Next button to advance to the next panel * 6. USING ALT-N TO NAVAGATE ON POINT IN TIME PANEL NOT ADVANCING TO NEXT PANEL. On the Point In Time selection panel in the Recovery advisor, users may not be able to use the ALT+N key combination to advance to the next screen. This can occur after the user selects LRSN, explicit button, then decides to Cancel and return to the Point In Time selection panel. Users must click the Next button to advance to the next panel. * 7. ARYS118E - ERROR SAVING OBJECT LEVEL RESTORE INFORMATION WHEN VTOC IS GREATER THAN 10 CYLS When trying to perform a system level backup and the VTOC on the volumes is greater than 10 cyls you may encounter an 0C4 (see below) which will than give you an ARYS118E error in the backup job: ARYS118E - Error saving object level restore information. ARYS080I - Backup with timestamp 2008/01/02-17:34:07, generation 01 was saved in the repository. ARYS002I - Recovery Expert for DB2 z/OS complete. RC=008. The 0C4 is as follows: IEA995I SYMPTOM DUMP OUTPUT 173 SYSTEM COMPLETION CODE=0C4 REASON CODE=00000011 TIME=17.34.20 SEQ=07051 CPU=0000 ASID=0020 PSW AT TIME OF ERROR 078D5000 A0575516 ILC 4 INTC 11 ACTIVE LOAD MODULE ADDRESS=20561000 OFFSET=00014516 NAME=ARY@ZTGT * 8. MESSAGE ARYX093S - 'AN UNEXPECTED ERROR OCCURRED' INCORRECTLY ISSUED DURING DESELECTION OF RELATED OBJECTS Message ARYX093S - 'An unexpected error occurred' incorrectly issued during deselection of related objects. This can occur when trying to deselect related objets on the Select Related Tables panel * 9. JOB RESULTS ARE NOT RETURNED TO THE CLIENT WHICH CAUSES THE CLIENT TO HANG When jobs are submitted by the client, information is not being returned to the client when the job completes. This can cause the client to hang waiting for a response. This situation occurs only on z/OS 1.9 systems.
