PK57012: CM PANEL ADB2C2L 'CM - MASK LINES' DOES NOT VALIDATE THE INPUT FIELD 'TYPE'

Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool panel ADB2C2L 'CM - Mask Lines'
  does not validate the input field 'Type'.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: On the Change Mangement Mask            *
  *                      panel(ADB2C2L):                         *
  *                      - the TYPE field was not validated      *
  *                      - if the text of a row was changed and  *
  *                      a line command was entered on the same  *
  *                      row before pressing enter, the update   *
  *                      change was lost.                        *
  *                      On the Change Management Version Scope  *
  *                      panel(ADB2C4O):                         *
  *                      - if the text of a row was changed and  *
  *                      a line command was entered on the same  *
  *                      row before pressing enter, the update   *
  *                      change was lost.                        *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: APPLY the PTF.                               *

  On the Change Mangement Mask panel(ADB2C2L):
  - the TYPE field was not validated
  - if the text of a row was changed and a line command was
  entered on the same row before pressing enter, the update change
  was lost.
  On the Change Management Version Scope panel(ADB2C4O):
  - if the text of a row was changed and a line command was
  entered on the same row before pressing enter, the update change
  was lost.
  

Problem conclusion

• The TYPE field on the Change Management Mask panel is now
  validated according to the documented TYPEs in the help panel.
  Also, for both the Mask and Version Scope Object panels, when
  the text of a row is changed and a line command is entered on
  the same row before pressing enter, the update change will be
  processed followed by the requested line command.
