Error description

  • When using DB2 Administration Tool, when generating a Revoke
    Impact Report for a user with SYSADM authority and YES is
    specified to Report Dropped Synonyms and Aliases, a warning
    still comes up that you have elected not to have dropped
    synonyms and aliases reported.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Even though the user specified Y for    *
    *                      Report Dropped Synonyms & Aliases       *
    *                      this value is ignored and N is used.    *
    *                      This results in message:                *
    *                      WARNING - You elected not to have       *
    *                      dropped Synonyms and Aliases reported.  *
    *                      There may be some dropped Synonyms or   *
    *                      Aliases that are not shown here.        *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: APPLY the PTF.                               *

    Various authorization panels incorrectly set the control
    variable to a value of N when it should be a Y.
