PK56229: Change description info gets overwritten after saving (contents edited)

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When changing the text in a requirement document you can typing
  in a
  label and a change description. After saving the document the hi
  story of the
  documentation is updated. The label information is saved correct
  ly, but the entered change
  description is overwritten by the technical note Contents
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• This issue was cause due some code that force to delete any
  new reason and just add Contents edited.
  

Problem conclusion

• To fix this issue I added some new logic to know when the
  reason changes, if there is changes then used it if not work
  as current and delete old description and add "Contents
  edited".
