Error description

  • The DB2 Object Comparision Tool issues a message:
(A)Field MAXROWS changed from 255 to 0
   (A)Field PCTFREE changed from 0 to 5
 Tablespace will be altered
for a LOB tablespace and builds an ALTER statement:
ALTER TABLESPACE aaaaaaaa.aaaaaaaa  MAXROWS 0
which fails with SQLCODEN644 INVALID VALUE SPECIFIED FOR KEYWORD

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Currently,  The Object Compare was      *
*                      processing  LOB  table spaces like      *
*                      other table spaces and  attempting      *
*                      to change parameters that were not      *
*                      allowed to change.                      *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *
****************************************************************
Object Compare was changed to ignore changes to LOB table spaces
that are not allowed by DB2.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The problem has been fixed in Object Compare Ver 7.2.
