Error description

• In DB2 Administration Tool, when using Object Compare,
  increase in partition in source table-based partition
  to target index-based partition currently results in DROP
  and RECREATE, instead of ADD PARTITION.

  *                      index-controlled partitioned table and  *

  *                      partitioned table.                      *

  * RECOMMENDATION: APPLY the PTF.                               *
  ****************************************************************
  This involves an outage of the target table and increased risk.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem has been fixed in Object Compare Ver 7.2
