Error description

  • Loop in ALZBATCH processing a type03 record which is larger
than the BLKSZIE specified on the JCL.

Local fix

  • Specify a larger LRECL BLKSIZE on the JCL.

Loop in module ALZBATCH extract processing when BLKSIZE is too
small. Module ALZBATCH loops when an IMS log record has a
record length greater than the extract dataset BLKSIZE.

Problem conclusion

  • Message ALZ0015E is issued and the extract request fails. To
correct the problem, increase the size of the extract dataset
LRECL and BLKSIZE.
