PK54077: CREX DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY WHEN TABLESPACE IS PARTITIONED AND CHANGE MANAGEMENT ID IS SET TO NONE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In DB2 Administration Tool, when using command CREX on a
  Partitioned Tablespace and Change Management ID found in
  table ADBCID is set to NONE, then Partition Information is
  not properly shown and if creating a partitioned index,
  LimitKey values cannot be entered properly.
  

Local fix

• Change Change Management ID to Optional and specify NO
  to Change Management

  *                      but only a single,  non-partitioned row *
  *                      is presented.                           *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *

  The panel logic on ADB21XAS was incorrectly
  using the CM installed variable rather than
  the  SQLID's CM active setting,  causing an
  incomplete  setting of the  ertain internal
  variables.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problems have been fixed.
