Error description

• In DB2 Admin Tool, using ALC to alter a column length to a size
  greater than 4096 in panel adb26ctu receives message:
    Too large for page size
  .
  Problem appears when altering a varchar column by increasing or
  decreasing data length to a size greater than 4096.

  The product was incorrectly using a 4K page size when the page
  size was larger.
  

Problem conclusion

• ALC will use the table space page size for the table being
  altered when testing if the new column length exceeds the page
  size.
