• CURRENCY CODE ISK (ICELAND KRONA) WILL CHANGE ITS DECIMAL VALUE
  FROM 2 TO 0. ON 22 SEPTEMBER 2007, THE CURRENCY TABLE ON THE
  SWIFT NETWORK WILL BE UPDATED.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: As per ISO 4217 Amendment number 137,   *
  *                      the decimal value of the currency code  *
  *                      ISK (ICELAND KRONA) has changed from    *
  *                      2 to 0.                                 *

  ****************************************************************
  Reference: SWIFT Broadcast S05995 and S06001
  To provide more time to banks for adapting their systems, the
  decimal change implementation on the SWIFT network for ISK is
  postponed to 22 September 2007 instead of 28 April 2007 as
  previously announced.
  The SWIFT system will be updated as follows:
  On 22 September 2007, the currency table on the SWIFT network
  and the live environment of accord will be updated.
  Please be aware that, from 22 September 2007 onwards, messages
  containing decimals amount field with ISK as currency code
  will be rejected.
  Note however that the ICELAND KRONA (ISK) applies decimal
  value 0 since 2003.
  

Problem conclusion

• The MERVA ESA currency code table is updated.
  The decimal value from currency code ISK (ICELAND KRONA) is
  changed from 2 to 0.

  On 22 September 2007, the currency table on the SWIFT network
  will be updated.
