PK51782: INCORRECT VERSION FILE TYPE ASSIGNED IN OBJECT COMPARE WHEN THE OLD VERSION FILE IS OVERWRITTEN IN CHANGE MANAGEMENT

Obtain the fix for this APAR.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In DB2 Administration Tools, when try to overwrite a base
  version file created in Change Management, using Object
  Compare, it creates a delta version instead of a base
  version, and the new version file cannot be used in
  Change Management.
  

Local fix

• In the JCL, jobstep S01SVF, change VTYPE=DELTA to
  VTYPE=BASE
