PK51438: DATABASE LEFT UNACCESSABLE AFTER ORF AND DLI CONFLICT

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• I started an ORF job while a DLI job was running for the same
  database. I am data sharing with IRLM SCOPE=GLOBAL. The ORF job
  ran up to the point where it would have renamed the databases,
  but failed because the database was allocated to the DLI job.
  ORF left the database anauthorized, which meant that all
  subsequent work failed.

  Batch functions have the database authorized, but ORF runs.
  A batch region (ULU/DLI/DBB/UDR) has the database authorized.
  ORF should detect this and not run. The initialozation module
  did not check this.
  

Problem conclusion

• DBRC function to retrieve the Subsys information has been
  added.  The initialization module now verifies, that online
  subsystems only can be authorized.
