Problem summary

* USERS AFFECTED: Users of Object Compare V7.2 with DB2 object *
*                 names that contain special characters.       *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Object Compare, in some instances,      *
*                      omitted  the quotes  required  for      *
*                      object  names  containing  special      *
*                      characters in some Report messages      *
*                      and ALTER statements.                   *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *
****************************************************************
Object Compare was changed to delimit object names containing
special characters in those cases mentioned above.

Problem conclusion

  • The problem has been fixed in Object Compare V7.2.
