• Alter not working correctly when removing a fieldproc

Problem summary

  * USERS AFFECTED: All ALC users removing FLEIDPROC's from      *
  *                 columns.                                     *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: ALC was performing SMART ALTER instead  *
  *                      of DROP-SC.                             *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *
  ****************************************************************
  Replaced code in SMRTUPDT sub-routine that were removed sometime
  prior to 12/16/2006. The removal of this code caused the ALC  to
  engage a  SMART ALTER,  which is not the effective in removing a
  FLEIDPROC as the table must be dropped to achieve this.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problems have been fixed.
