PK50237: PANEL ADB21TAV 'ALTER PARTITIONED TABLE' FOLDS THE INPUT TO UPPERCASE

Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool panel  ADB21TAV 'Alter Partitioned
  Table' folds the input to uppercase which causes an issue
  when the ALTER statements are attempted:
  DSNT408I SQLCODE = -636, ERROR:  THE PARTITIONING KEYS FOR
  PARTITION 2 ARE NOT
           SPECIFIED IN ASCENDING OR DESCENDING ORDER
  DSNT418I SQLSTATE   = 56016 SQLSTATE RETURN CODE
  

Local fix

• Use PROMPT feature to change the limit key values to lower
  case.
  

Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When  processing  ALTER statement,      *
  *                      ADB27PAS translated limit key data      *

  Made changes to insure that limit key data is not translated
  into upper case.
