PK49914: DFS3710A IMAGE COPY NOT REGISTERED TO DBRC IF THE DB IS UPDATED AFTER LOGICAL COPY END USING FASTIC=(REQ,DUMP)

Error description

• MSGDFS3710A, Image Copy  is not registered in DBRC,
  when Image Copy data set is created without problems with
  FASTIC=(REQ,DUMP). This is caused by the fact that an IMS
  application runs after logical copy ends, and HPIC tries to get
  authorization to the DB and fails. The job completes with
  return code zero.
  The problem is that after Logical Copy ends, HPIC does not
  need to get DB authorization to register the Image Copy.
  This will be changed.

Problem summary

  A message DFS3710A ( MSGDFS3710A ) is issued and IC data set is
  not registered in the DBRC during HPIC V4R1 Image Copy process
  with following conditions;
   -FPDB is processed.
   -FASTIC=(,DUMP) is specified.
   -/STA for each AREA is issued through the TOSI, after logical
    copy has completed. And then DB update is occurred.
  This is because that HPIC is going to get authorization of DBRC
  for registering IC record, then HPIC gets authorization fail and
  fails to register IC data set in the DBRC.
  But this authorization is not needed, so HPIC will avoid it.
  
  This APAR also fixes another problem of authorization.
  When FFDB is processed with FASTIC=(,DUMP), HPIC Image Copy
  function fails to remove authorization of DBRC.
  Because parameter for authorization macro is not set correctly.
  

Problem conclusion

• FABJDMPN has been modified to set parameter of authorization
  macro correctly.
  
  FABJFCDN and FABJMDPN have been modified to bypass authorization
  process before registration of IC record.
  
  The following modules have been reassembled.
