Error description

  • DB2 Object Comparison drops source aliases if the alias is
not found on the target and masking is involved.

Local fix

  • Edit the DDL.DROP dataset under the guidance of IBM Support

Problem summary

*                      owner name of the DROP ALIAS statement. *

* RECOMMENDATION: APPLY the PTF.                               *

MASKing for the owner name of the DROP ALIAS statement was
added.

Problem conclusion

  • The problem has been fixed in Object Compare Ver 7.2.
